The Russian Federal Security Service announced that its operatives were able to stop the activity of a terrorist cell affiliated with the Ukrainian MKU organization with a Nazi ideology.
"The Russian intelligence has arrested seven members of the organization in the city of Belgorod, who are involved in neo-Nazi propaganda and mass murder," the RIA Novosti news agency quoted the Russian Federal Security Service as saying in a statement.
According to the statement, the extremists were planning to carry out armed attacks against policemen and civilians in Russia, indicating that weapons and a drug production laboratory were found in one of them's residence.
Two months ago, Russian intelligence arrested 30 members of the extremist organization (MKU) in several Russian cities.
