SANA’s camera attended the Maysaloon Forest in Damascus countryside, which embraced the scenes of filming, and met the team of the Crow’s Nest Decathlon, which was written by Samer Adela, and it is produced by the Syrian Company for Artistic Production and Distribution.
The director of the work, Walid Darwish, indicated in a statement to SANA that this is his first experience in Syrian drama, as he encouraged him to direct this decathlon, the method of writing the text, which was characterized by a cinematic style, and seeks in directing it to blend between drama and cinema.
Regarding the choice of the decathlon drama template for the mushroom’s nest, Darwish saw that the drama market in the world today is moving towards the short story that carries a good idea, and because this work carries a social premise that exists in all societies represented in crime, greed, greed and brotherhood dispute over money, this template was chosen.
The choice of the title of tithing came according to the director, because the crow bird is symbolic because it builds its nest in high places and tries to get everything that shines, noting that in tithalism a personality that takes this direction and stirs differences and disputes.
Regarding the locations of filming, the director of “Zamkan Film” pointed out that there are several separate places in Damascus and its countryside, but the main location is the Maysaloun Forest, which is characterized by its dense trees and serves the idea of the text.
The artist Hossam Tahsin Bey, who embodies the negative personality of a fraudulent man practicing illegal activities, described the idea of producing the decathlon, the Seven, or others as good, because it is social media that attracts the public at present and dominates television in terms of high follow-up and large investments, in addition to the speed of its production and spread at lower costs, which made Most producers go in the same direction as long as the drama performs its idea, regardless of the number of episodes.
On his impression of dealing with young directors, Tahseen Bey saw that our Syrian youth are a conscious and educated segment, and director Darwish has experience and is directing a good job with a strong production company and a capable cadre.
The artist Wadah Halloum expressed his happiness in participating in the work and embodying a role he plays for the first time represented by the character of Reda, a person who carries many puzzles and surprises, pointing to the atmosphere of understanding and love that he combined with director Darwish, which gives a margin of freedom to the artist to embody his role in a distinctive and appropriate manner, especially that the text is beautiful Interesting and attractive.
As for the artist, Ruba Al-Mamoun, who embodies the character of Dr. Hazar, a selfish woman who does immoral acts for the sake of money, she pointed out that the text is interesting and carries many surprises, and the director has a beautiful and different look.
The artist Ola Al-Basha, who embodies the role of a non-professional journalist whose only concern is her external appearance, expressed her happiness with her first experience in front of the camera, which she described as enjoyable.
The artist Majd Musharraf embodies the personality of the detective Majd, who is on an unofficial mission to obtain corruption files related to the murders. He noted the importance of giving opportunities to the younger generation in dramas to prove their abilities and talents.
Film director Ali Al-Maghout is doing technical cooperation in this decathlon, which is his first work in the field of television drama. He described the crow's nest as a beautiful and enjoyable experience that depends on excitement and mystery, indicating that huts were built and equipped for use in directing the work within certain locations in the Maysaloon Forest in a way that serves the idea of the work.
A complex character played by the artist Umayyah Malas, through which she embodies several different roles. She pointed out that the text of the decathlon is interesting, different, and new, as she worked on it psychologically and humanly and by working on her external appearance, and indicated that the difficulties that faced the artists on the filming site were overcome through the skilled work cadre.
The artist Waseem Al-Rahbi found that works related to the world of crime and thriller are still few in our drama, but what attracted him in this tithe is the way of thinking of director Darwish, who previously worked in the movie “Cheese”, besides that he plays a different role, is the character of a Madi university doctor who has a bad temper and lacks For humanity, considering that the dramas that go to the platforms come out of the cloak of the Ramadan season, and we in Syria need such works because they reach everyone easily and achieve positive results.
Among the characters of the work is Abeer, who seeks to achieve her goals and is embodied by the artist Rasha Ibrahim, who saw that the text of the crow's nest presents a new proposal for the Syrian drama by dealing with the worlds of evil, in addition to the fact that the work is directed in a cinematic manner.
The artist, Aya Suleiman, who embodies the character of Dana, an indifferent woman, pointed out the importance of giving opportunities to the young generation, especially those with talent, where they can show and develop through these opportunities.
As for the character of the cook, Manhal, who accepts an invitation to work as a chef in a restaurant, but is exposed to mysterious events in the forest when his car breaks down, and is embodied by the artist Wissam Abu Saab.
