The Loire-Atlantique Assize Court took notice with the recording of a singular family reunion.
On July 5, 2014, Hubert Caouissin and his partner, Lydie Troadec, went to see her mother, Renée, in Guipavas (Finistère).
There they find Pascal (Lydie's brother) and Brigitte Troadec, whom they suspect of having stolen an imaginary stock of gold.
Pierre Troadec, Renée's late husband, would have discovered this "manna" in a building in Brest in 2006. In February 2017, Hubert Caouissin massacred Pascal, Brigitte and their two children with crowbar.

Lydie stuck a dictaphone in her bra.
Renée, to her son:
"I estimate that I am entitled to half of what you have taken, and that Lydie is entitled to a quarter."
Brigitte, in a lively tone:

Lydie, honey:
