Brazil recorded 65,163 new infections and 2,029 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
According to the World Meters website, the total number of HIV infections in the country rose to 18 million and 622304, while the total number of deaths reached 520189 cases.
Brazil ranks second in the world after the United States in the number of deaths related to the virus and third after the United States and India in terms of the number of infections.
In Mexico, data from the Ministry of Health showed the registration of 6,081 new infections with the Corona virus and 201 deaths, bringing the total deaths in the country to 233,248 cases, while the total number of infections reached 2,525,350.
The government believes that the real number of cases is much higher, and separate data indicate that the real death toll is at least 60 percent higher than the declared cases.
