Putzbrunn - The accident escape occurred on Thursday, July 1st, at 5:50 p.m., as the police reported. According to this, a 62-year-old from the Munich district was driving her Fiat Spider coming from Grasbrunn on State Road 2079 and wanted to enter the roundabout at the intersection with Münchner Straße. Due to traffic, she had to stop at the entrance to the roundabout. At that moment, a cyclist was driving the cycle path north of the roundabout in an easterly direction. Instead of stopping, he just drove on the state road and touched the Fiat in the area of ​​the bumper.

The cyclist fell, but immediately got up again and, according to the police, gave the driver a few Bavarian swearwords. The 62-year-old, who got out of her car, then tried to stop the cyclist. But in the meantime he got on his bike and just drove away. When trying to reach for the cyclist or his vehicle, the driver only got hold of the backpack that was in the wheel basket.

The police estimate the damage caused at around 1,000 euros. She is now looking for the cyclist who escaped the accident as well as witnesses to the accident. The cyclist should be between 55 and 60 years old and of strong stature. He was about six feet tall, had short gray hair and spoke in the Bavarian dialect. What was striking about his clothing was the orange, sleeveless signal vest. He was on the way with a dark, older city bike with a luggage basket. According to the police, there was a snack in the dark blue rucksack from the Tatonka brand, but otherwise no objects that could identify the cyclist.
