A Miesbacher was recently charged with drug offenses and gun possession before the Miesbach jury.

The 41-year-old got away with 90 daily rates.

Miesbach - drug possession, attempted trafficking in drugs and possession of a forbidden weapon - these were the allegations against a 41-year-old Miesbacher who now had to answer before the Miesbach jury.

According to the indictment, he is said to have hidden a gram of cocaine mixture and half a gram of marijuana in his apartment in October 2020, as well as a butterfly knife that falls under the gun law.

The amount of drugs that the defendant is said to have bought from a dealer in December was much larger.

There was talk of three times 20 grams of cocaine mixture for a total of 4800 euros - and the charge of wanting to resell the substance.

Defense attorney Ulrich Beil advised his client not to comment on the allegations at the beginning.

Investigator: First name of the Miesbach accused found on the cell phone of Pfaffenhofen drug owner

An investigator from the Ingolstadt criminal police described how the investigators had come across the defendant.

Witness statements would have given evidence of a Pfaffenhofen resident.

The house search revealed small amounts of marijuana and cocaine there.

The man's cell phone was confiscated, as was a safe that could not be opened on site.

While the police opened the safe at the station, the owner made off. Not without reason, because it contained 17,000 euros in cash and one kilogram of cocaine. In addition, the police found extensive handwritten records of the drug deals, a kind of "cash book", reported the investigator. The defendant's first name appeared three times in the list of buyers. His first name was also saved on the mobile phone under "Contacts". In the chat process, however, no relevant information was found.

Another detail seemed not entirely irrelevant to Judge Walter Leitner.

The policewoman explained that the dealer had also "had something to do with cars".

He probably planned to set up a towing company.

The investigations had shown that the Pfaffenhofen resident asked car dealers several times about the quality and prices of various vehicles.

The accused himself was active in the auto industry, said Leitner.

Possibly a reason why the number was found on the cell phone of the fugitive from Pfaffenhofen.

Defendant acquitted of cocaine purchase - fined for drug discovery and knife possession

An officer from the Miesbach police confirmed that nothing suspicious had been found on the defendant's mobile phone. During a house search, he initially denied possessing drugs. But then a sachet with the said amount of cocaine appeared in his pocket. The police discovered other objects with adhesions in the living quarters.

The Miesbacher was finally acquitted of the charge of having bought the 60 grams of cocaine. The fact that his first name had been found on the dealer's list of buyers was not compelling proof, as was his phone number on the cell phone, especially since a large number of other contacts were stored here in addition to buyers, was the reason. For the drug finds and possession of the knife, the court imposed a fine of 90 daily rates of 50 euros each.
