Duisburg - The little panda "Jang" from the Duisburg Zoo is missing.

There has been no trace of the red panda since Thursday morning.

The panda was searched for on the zoo site - so far without success.

"Our zoo team is currently assuming that" Jang "is in one of the numerous treetops on the zoo grounds," Duisburg Zoo writes in an Instagram post.

According to the zoo, small pandas are mostly in tree tops.

Little pandas are harmless to humans

"Small pandas with a body size of around 50 centimeters plus tail and a weight of around 5 kilos are harmless to humans," says the Insta-Post.
