The new mechanism includes localizing the place of receiving the material with a point of sale for each electronic card, where it is possible to choose the point of sale, whether “accredited, hall, or outlet for the Syrian Trade Establishment or one of the halls of government institutions, cooperative societies or bakeries” in a way that suits the place of residence or work of the citizen, i.e. the closest to him according to The statement of the Deputy Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Rifaat Ali Suleiman, to a representative of SANA.
Suleiman indicated that it is possible to register at any point of sale and change it between governorates five times a year, while more than that can be done within a single governorate, explaining that this mechanism enables the ministry to detect and fix the defect, whether it is related to the approved, the method of transferring the material and its dealings with citizens or the bakery and the quality of bread.
The new mechanism, according to Suleiman, aims to ensure that the citizen obtains the material easily from the point of sale associated with it, preserves his right to the material, ends the manifestations of crowding at the bakeries, controls their work and the quantities of flour supplied to them, and prevents manipulation of the sale of the material.
As for the method of choosing the most appropriate point of sale for each citizen, the Assistant Minister of Internal Trade mentioned that it is similar to the method of receiving gas cylinders and subsidized materials, which are activated through the “Telegram” channel or the website of the electronic card project or through the “USSD” service at the number “Square 9884.” Najma” or via the “Wein” mobile application, indicating that the identification and distribution of points of sale was carried out by coordination between the governors and the Ministry of Local Administration, according to a “balanced and fair process for all regions.”
The Ministry of Internal Trade is preparing the technical and technical arrangements necessary to put the service into implementation in the three mentioned governorates, according to Suleiman, noting that an organizational decision will be issued next week to address matters related to “determining the individual’s share of bread per day, the time allowed to purchase the share, and how to act in the event of points of sale and returns being broken. of bread that has not been sold.
