Republican congresswoman María Elvira Salazar, representative of Florida's 27th congressional district, traveled to the area where a building collapsed in Miami on June 24, leaving at least 18 dead.
From there he said that the tragedy demands "a moment of union" regardless of the differences between Democrats and Republicans.
Elvira Salazar pointed out that "we must have more compassion and more charity with the other because this event could happen to anyone."
