The late Nahal Brigadier General, the late Col. Sharon Asman, had signed an Eddie card and his family agreed to donate organs, the National Transplant Center said this morning (Friday).
The corneas of the commander who passed away prematurely will be transplanted into the eyes of those waiting in line for corneal transplants and thus will allow them light to see.
The late Col. Sharon Asman collapsed yesterday (Thursday) and died during combat fitness training, just three days after taking command of the Nahal Brigade.
