After more than a week of rainy weather, Hong Kong has finally seen fine weather recently.

According to the Observatory, the high-altitude anticyclone is covering the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. The temperature in many areas of Hong Kong this (2nd) afternoon rose to 33 degrees or above, and a high temperature of 34.7 degrees was recorded in Sheung Shui.

The Observatory predicts that there will be one or two showers tomorrow morning, and it will be very hot during the day. The highest temperature in the urban area is about 33 degrees, and another one or two degrees higher in the New Territories.

It was generally fine for the next one or two days, and it was very hot during the day.

The Observatory also pointed out that a wide area of low pressure will affect the waters near the Philippines, which will have the opportunity to develop further, and will enter the South China Sea. Showers along the coast of Guangdong will increase next Tuesday and three.

The Observatory pointed out in the "Weather Essay" column of its webpage that the latest calculation results of the European Medium-term Weather Forecast Center show that the low-pressure area may develop into a tropical cyclone from the beginning to the middle of next week, but the development is relatively slow.

At present, the various forecasts are different, and there will be considerable variables in the intensity and position at that time.

The European Center for Mid-range Weather Forecast predicts the probability distribution of tropical cyclones from early to mid next week.

The reddish color in the figure represents a lower probability, and the blue color represents a higher probability.

According to the Observatory, the subtropical high ridge is expected to cover southeastern China next week. If a tropical cyclone is generated on the ocean south or southwest of the sub-high ridge at this time, the tropical cyclone will have the opportunity to enter the South China Sea along the edge of the sub-high ridge to the northwest. It even affects the northwestern part of the South China Sea.

The Observatory continued to point out that some computer forecasting models predict that a wide area of low pressure will affect the waters near the Philippines early next week, and there is a chance for further development.

Predictions indicate that this low-pressure area will develop into a tropical cyclone in the early to middle next week, but there are still variables.

However, the Observatory pointed out that affected by the low pressure area, there will be more showers along the coast of Guangdong in the middle of next week.

Continuously hot for three consecutive days, the highest in the urban area on Sunday is 34 degrees

The Observatory predicts that the south China coast will be affected by high-altitude anticyclones in the next two or three days, bringing generally sunny and very hot weather. The temperature will range from 29 to 34 degrees on the weekend and it will be generally fine.

The temperature will drop slightly next week. It is expected that under the influence of the low pressure area, there will be more showers along the coast of Guangdong next Tuesday and March, and thunderstorms will occur in some areas. In the latter part of the next week, the high-altitude anticyclone will strengthen again and the sun will appear again, but there will still be showers.

As for tomorrow morning (3rd), one or two showers are expected. During the day, it will be extremely hot. The highest temperature in the urban area is about 33 degrees, and another one or two degrees in the New Territories.

According to the regional weather forecast of the Observatory, a high temperature of 35 degrees will be recorded at 1 pm tomorrow in Sheung Shui.

It was generally fine for the next one or two days, and it was very hot during the day.
