Transport in Greater Paris: the disruptions of the weekend of July 3 and 4

2021-07-02T22:36:53.490Z

Summer work has started on metro line 6 ... closed for half of its route. This weekend, other disturbances are to be expected.

RER

Line A terminus at Auber.

Throughout the weekend, traffic is interrupted on the western branches of the RER, from Auber station to Nanterre (92), Cergy-le-Haut (95) and Poissy (78).

Substitute buses have been set up between La Défense and Nanterre in the Hauts-de-Seine.

Roissy terminal 2 not served.

Plan "wide" if you go to terminal 2 of the airport by RER B. On Saturday and Sunday, the trains will not serve the CDG2-TGV station stop.

It remains accessible by the CDG-Val shuttle from the CDG1 stop ... for about ten minutes of additional travel time.

Serial closures on line C.

Due to maintenance work, traffic is interrupted throughout the weekend between Massy-Palaiseau in Essonne and Pont de Rungis, between Invalides and Pontoise and between Juvisy-sur-Orge and Versailles-Chantiers in the Yvelines.

Replacement buses are installed on the closed sections.

Direct RER D between Paris and Villeneuve-saint-Georges.

This weekend, line D trains will not serve the stations located between Paris and Villeneuve-Saint-Georges (Maisons-Alfort, Vert de Maisons, Créteil, Villeneuve-triage).

A replacement bus serves these intermediate stations.

Subway

Line 6 halved.

The last phase of the major repair work on the viaducts of the most "aerial" line of the network has started.

It is closed to travelers, from Montparnasse to Trocadéro, until August 27.

The National station, upstream of the section under construction, is also closed all summer.

The oars do not stop there.

Tram

.

The T1 stops at Gennevilliers.

Due to work on the line, tram trains no longer run between Gennevilliers station stations and the western terminus of the line at Asnières in Hauts-de-Seine.

This line reduction will remain in place until July 23.

Buses replace the tram on the section concerned.

Ten stations closed on the T3b.

As part of the platform renovation work, traffic is interrupted on line T3b between the Porte de Vincennes and Delphine-Seyrig stations, in Pantin in Seine-Saint-Denis.

A bus serves the 10 closed tram stations.

The site is scheduled to last until July 9 inclusive.

Road

Bikers demonstrate in Paris.

Watch out for slowdowns, and the roar of motorcycles, Sunday afternoon in the north of the capital. At the call of their federation of Ile-de-France, the "angry bikers" are called to ride in procession towards the City Hall of Paris to protest against the establishment of paid parking for motorized two-wheelers decided by the town hall. Protesters must gather on Avenue Foch (XVI) from 2 p.m. The hundreds of motorcyclists expected at the event will take the road an hour later towards the north via the Marshals then the avenue des Ternes, and the boulevards of Courcelles and Malesherbes before branching off towards Saint-Lazare. The procession should then take the main boulevards towards République before “going down” towards the town hall of Paris via the Réaumur sector.
