Deir Ezzor-SANA
Today, Deir Ezzor Governorate launched a comprehensive voluntary cleaning campaign for the city's streets and neighborhoods, with the participation of a number of institutions, directorates, public sector companies, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the local community.
The two-day campaign includes cleaning streets, neighborhoods and main roads in the city of Deir ez-Zor, removing rubble and waste, and trimming trees in squares and central islands.
In statements to SANA's reporter, a member of the Executive Office of Deir Ezzor Governorate for the Services Sector, Ziad Al-Kadhim, stated that the campaign comes within the framework of the governorate's action plan in order to improve the service situation, raise the level of hygiene and encourage participatory work between the public sector and the local community.
The head of Deir ez-Zor City Council, Engineer Raed Mandeel, indicated that all the campaign requirements were secured in order to remove garbage from the city’s streets and neighborhoods during the two days of the holiday. Cleanliness workshops by adhering to the dates and places for throwing garbage.
A member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Deir ez-Zor Louay Muhaimed pointed out that the chamber participates in the campaign through a number of mechanisms and workers to work to remove rubble, remove waste, and clean streets and intermediate islands in a number of neighborhoods.
A number of workers participating in the campaign confirmed that they are doing their duty to keep their city clean.
