In the night of Sunday, according to the German Weather Service (DWD), clouds gradually rise in the Free State.
In some areas they have rain in their luggage.
According to the meteorologists, the southern Swabia region is particularly affected by thunderstorms.

On Sunday afternoons, there is said to be frequent thunderstorms in the west and near the Alps, sporadically in east Bavaria too.
Specifically, the DWD warns of storms with heavy rain.
Within a short time, the meteorologists announce between 25 and 40 liters of rain per square meter.
Squalls reach speeds of up to 75 kilometers per hour, and hailstones up to two centimeters in size are also possible.

Despite the storms, it remains warm in summer.
The temperatures for Sunday are between 22 and 27 degrees.
Incidentally, the new thunderstorm episode doesn't last too long.
At the start of the new week, the Free State expects a mix of sun and clouds - with isolated showers and thunderstorms.

According to the DWD, it should already be over 30 degrees on Tuesday.
