The Russian Black Sea Fleet announced today that it conducted air military exercises jointly with the Air Force of the Southern Military District of Russia.
The TASS news agency quoted the fleet as saying that "its planes, together with the planes of the Southern Military District, conducted training air missions over the Black Sea and carried out missile and bomb attacks on the ships of an imaginary enemy."
The exercises come at a time when the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and its allies are conducting the "Sea Breeze 2021" military exercises in the region.
