Al-Wahda team won the Volleyball League title after defeating Al-Suda by three games to none in the penultimate fifth round, which was held today at Al-Suda Hall in Tartous.

Al-Wahda achieved the desired goal, as it needed to win this result to win the title before the last round of the league competitions, during which it will meet with the Police team.

Al-Wahda had defeated its rival Salmiya by three sets to one in the match that brought them together on the grounds of the Hama gymnasium in the fourth round of the second leg.

Club president Maher Al-Sayed explained in a statement to SANA that the team deservedly deserved the league title after defeating all teams, especially in the second leg, noting the high technical performance of the team's players and the great effort made by the technical and administrative staff.

Al-Sayed said that the club’s management cares about all games and puts all its moral and material capabilities to provide the requirements for success and competition for advanced positions to reach the podiums in team and individual games, pointing out that the club’s large fan base, which accompanies its teams wherever they are, has an important role in all the club’s achievements.

The team is supervised technically by Salah Habbal, administratively by Bilal Goran, coach Ahmed Kassar, and the two administrators, Badr El-Din Choucair and Naim Al-Aswad.
