For this Saturday July 3, Bison Futé advised from Friday, already a very busy day, to leave the Paris region earlier, before 8 a.m., and to avoid the A7 motorway between Lyon and Orange from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the A9 between Orange and Narbonne from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as the A43 between Lyon and Chambéry from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
At 9:22 a.m., the number of traffic jams in Île de France stretched over 8 km.

In the rest of France, traffic will be "
difficult
" in the direction of the departures, the roads being classified orange.
In the other direction, traffic should be smooth, referred to as "
usual
" by Bison Smart.
Sunday, traffic should be much smoother.
