Dozens of Palestinians were injured today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces assaulting them during their storming of Al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the neighborhood and fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in a protest demonstration against the crimes of the occupation and its settlement schemes targeting Palestinian homes and property, causing dozens of suffocation cases.
More than 1,500 Palestinians in the Al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan face the threat of forced displacement as a result of the Israeli occupation's threat to demolish the neighborhood, which includes more than 100 homes, to establish a settlement outpost on its land, in a new crime of ethnic cleansing that the international community is following up without taking any step to stop it.
