Minutes after the Government announced that it was modifying the vaccine law through a DNU to be able to buy doses from Pfizer and other laboratories, Elisa Carrió took aim at Vice President Cristina Kirchner by blaming her for the delay in the agreement with that US company.
"Regarding the conscience of Cristina Kirchner, who
put the word negligence
so that the contract with Pfizer is not made, the death of thousands of Argentines will forever weigh," Carrió launched from his Twitter account.
The word negligence was the main obstacle in the negotiations between the Government and Pfizer.
This Friday, at a press conference, the Legal and Technical Secretary, Vilma Ibarra, confirmed that this term will finally be removed from the law through the DNU signed by President Alberto Fernández, which will be published this Saturday.

Carrió focused his criticism on the former president while the opposition as a whole went to the government's crossroads for having communicated that the vaccine law was finally being modified in order to advance an agreement with Pfizer, something that Juntos por el Cambio had long claimed for a long time.
One of the toughest against the Government's decision to modify the law with a new decree was the president of the interblock of deputies of Together for Change, Mario Negri, who ruled that "the Government
removes this DNU because it had the noose around its neck.
" .
Before him, the first to express himself was the national deputy and former Governor of Mendoza, Alfredo Cornejo.
"The loss of life and the fall of the economy is the result of the" negligence "of the government of @alferdez. No new DNU will correct the failure of the management of the pandemic," said the head of the UCR.

The president of PRO, Patricia Bullrich, Patricia Bullrich, also criticized: "We defended the truth, we persisted in the fight and
we achieved a change that benefits all Argentines
!"
It was the Legal and Technical Secretary, Vilma Ibarra, who in a press conference with the Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, confirmed that President Alberto Fernández will sign the DNU that modifies the vaccine law in the next few hours.
The official announced that the DNU that will be published this Saturday eliminates the word negligence from the law, the main obstacle to the negotiation with the US laboratory Pfizer, and that its main objective is the acquisition of pediatric vaccines.
"This DNU is the result of a negotiation process with laboratories that have declared the impossibility of contracting within the framework of the current law issued by Congress," explained Ibarra.
On that point, he added: "This Decree of Necessity and Urgency is the fruit of long-term work in which positions had to be brought closer together. We have worked to reach a point where the major concerns of suppliers and suppliers are understood. interests of the nation ".
