Mayor Verena Reithmann reported in a few words at the municipal council meeting on Monday evening that there would be an extraordinary citizens' meeting on the subject of mobile communications and 5G in the near future. The critics would have fought for that at the second attempt. The date is Wednesday, July 21st. However, the town hall chief must first clarify with the elementary school whether the school auditorium is available as an event location on this day. “However, some of the agenda items were deleted,” she continued, “because they are not of municipal concern and have therefore been classified as inadmissible by the legal supervisory authority.” Reithmann commented: “You can of course have an evening on the possible dangers of 5G do, but a citizens' meeting is not the right setting for this. "
The legal supervision cut the agenda
The agenda announced in the municipal council meeting provides for a report and a visualization of the current and planned status of the expansion of the mobile infrastructure after the welcome by the mayor or her deputy.
The second point is to examine the impact of cell phone towers over 40 meters on the landscape.
One representative of the municipality and one representative of the applicants are provided as speakers.
The speaker of the community has not yet been determined.
The applicants had named Professor Wilfried Kühling, who was from abroad and therefore had to be connected online.
