In addition, Zisk himself was addicted to drugs, and in one of his court hearings he said he became addicted to drugs after the military, when he went to the United States and Australia for two years.

"It has adopted norms and values that allow for the commission of offenses and the intensive use of drugs," Judge Eran Cotton ruled, recommending that the Prisons Service incorporate it into appropriate treatment procedures for addicts.

He underwent rehab treatments in and out of prison, however one of his acquaintances said that unfortunately, time and time again he returned to use.
