Entering July, the weather in Hong Kong has become hot again.

The Observatory predicts that the high-altitude anticyclone will bring generally sunny and very hot weather to the coast of South China in the next one or two days. Tomorrow (4th) the temperature in the urban area is expected to reach 34 degrees Celsius, reaching a level of extreme heat; temperatures in Sheung Shui and Ta Kuling are more likely Chances are as high as 36 degrees.

In addition, the Observatory expects that a wide area of low pressure will affect the waters near the Philippines, which has the opportunity for further development, and will move to the middle to northwestern part of the South China Sea in the early to middle of next week.

Affected by this, there will be more showers along the coast of Guangdong next Tuesday (6th) and 3rd (7th), and there will be three consecutive days of showers and thunderstorms in Hong Kong starting next Tuesday.

According to the Observatory, the high-altitude anticyclone is bringing generally clear weather to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea.

At noon today (3rd), the temperature in most parts of Hong Kong rose to 32 degrees or above. Among them, 33 degrees was recorded at the Observatory and 35 degrees in Dameito. The hot weather warning was also in effect.

The Observatory predicts that it will be generally fine today and very hot in the afternoon, but there will be showers in some areas; the southerly wind will be gentle.

Tomorrow (4th) and next Monday (5th) are expected to be generally fine and very hot during the day.

Tomorrow, the temperature is expected to be between 29 and 34 degrees, with a high of 36 degrees in Sheung Shui and Ta Kwu Ling; and next Monday, the temperature is expected to be between 29 and 33 degrees.

Next Wednesday (7th) is the "little heat" in the 24 solar terms, which means that the weather is getting hotter day by day, but before it reaches the hottest time, the Observatory expects that the day will be mostly cloudy with occasional showers and thunderstorms in some areas; Almost 27 to 30 degrees, no extreme heat.

In addition, the wide low pressure area of the Observatory moved to the middle to northwestern part of the South China Sea from the beginning to the middle of next week, causing continuous showers in Hong Kong starting next Tuesday (6th).

With reference to the European Centre for Medium-Term Weather Forecast (ECMWF) forecast, the low-pressure area will enter the South China Sea next Tuesday and will be the closest to Hong Kong in the early morning of next Wednesday. However, the wind is not strong and the sea level center pressure is as low as 1001 hPa, which is not as low as tropical depression.

The forecast of the US Global Forecast System (GFS) is similar, but GFS predicts that the low pressure area will mainly move to Vietnam.

In Hong Kong, the nine-day weather forecast shows that the southeast wind will blow at magnitude 4 and occasionally at magnitude 5 next Wednesday.

According to Beaufort's wind scale, the average wind speed of the 5th wind is 31 to 40 kilometers per hour, which is less than the level of the No. 3 typhoon.
