Three arrests, the discovery of skeletal remains and a desperate search revolve around the case of the 4-year-old girl who disappeared in Tucumán.
This is
Rocío Milagros Rojas,
who was seen for the last time this Thursday.
While the investigation progresses, the Justice is behind a horrifying hypothesis: they would have tried to burn and make the body disappear after an alleged abuse of the little girl.
On the day of this Friday, there were the arrests of three people who could be linked to the disappearance of the minor:
Amalia Carolina Graneros (39), the girl's godmother
;
his partner, Edgardo Hernán Caro (36) and his son-in-law, Mauro Ortiz (21), partner of Graneros' daughter.
The search operations focused on
the confession of a person linked to the girl's family
who had "broken" before the Police and confessed that the girl's body could be buried in an open field located in the San Ramón settlement.
From there, the researchers shuffled the theory that there was
abuse followed by death.
Another contribution came from the neighbors, who declared that
Rocío was a victim of mistreatment
by her godmother and the family who lived in a house in the La Chabela settlement on the outskirts of the city of de Lules, 20 kilometers from the capital. from Tucumán.
After the complaint of disappearance by Rocío's own godmother, on Thursday, the Justice believes that the woman surprised her partner two days before
abusing the little girl,
so she thinks that the death would have occurred between Tuesday and Wednesday.
Intense search for Rocío in the vicinity of Route 301 and the Colorado River Bridge.
Investigators assume that the girl died from the abuse and, to dispose of the body, the three people who are detained would have taken her to the
San Ramón
settlement
, located about 5 kilometers away.
According to the hypothesis, they would have tried to
burn the body
but failed to make it disappear.
So, they believe, they
collected
the remains in a can
and headed to the Colorado River and Route 301. There, under a bridge, they found the skeletal remains that are being appraised.
In that place, the investigators would have also found
a baby's milk tooth
, which was also sent for an appraisal and they await the results to confirm if all the remains belong to Rocío.
At the moment, the three people involved remain in custody and the prosecutor Ignacio López Bustos, in charge of the Homicide Fiscal Unit, would request
six months of preventive detention for "homicide aggravated by treachery due to gender
.

The case
Rocío Milagros Rojas has been missing since Thursday at noon.
After the godmother's complaint, the search operation began.
The woman, who was in charge of Rocío due to the vulnerable situation in which she lived with her parents, pointed out that she was not present at the time of the disappearance and that the girl was left in the care of her 18-year-old daughter and her two month old son.
After the confession of the person linked to the family, the search work focused first on the settlement of the San Ramón neighborhood, located behind the Papelera de Tucumán.
Following the trail of a motorcycle, the rakes then moved to the banks of the Colorado River.
There,
under a bridge, the remains
that are now being appraised were found.

"We are working with investigative measures in different sectors, including conducting raids. We are at an initial stage of the investigation. Three arrests were made and skeletal remains were found that will be analyzed," confirmed the prosecutor López Bustos, according to a statement. of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
To approach the scene, the Scientific Investigations Team (ECIF) was given intervention, under the general coordination of Eugenio Agüero Gamboa.
Due to the complexity of the case, two complete teams from the ECIF with their Criminalistics, Legal Chemistry and Forensic Medicine Divisions participated, as well as an anthropologist.
On the part of the police, the Homicide Division acted, under the command of the chiefs Diego Bernachi and Juana Estequiño, together with members of the Lules police station, the Zero Group and the Infantry.
