Düsseldorf - Just in time for the start of the summer holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia, there were tumultuous scenes at Düsseldorf Airport on Friday and Saturday after several flights were canceled.

reported, the airline Pegasus canceled five of 17 scheduled flights from Düsseldorf to Turkey on Saturday alone.
Four flights had already been canceled on Friday.
As a result, there were long queues and crowds in front of the airline counters.

Düsseldorf Airport is the largest airport in North Rhine-Westphalia and, in terms of passenger volume, the fourth largest airport in Germany after Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich.
