Today, Homs firefighting teams put out two fires that affected dry grass, fruit trees and forests.
Brigadier General Hassan Imad, commander of the Homs Fire Brigade, told SANA reporter that the personnel of the regiment, in cooperation with the Civil Defense in Homs, put out a fire that broke out with dry herbs, forest trees and damaged tires near the Amran Company in the Karm al-Shami neighborhood of Homs.
In turn, Brigadier General Ghiath Akil, Director of Civil Defense in Homs, stated that the members of the branch, in cooperation with the extinguishing of the Directorate of Agriculture and the people, put out a fire that broke out in an area of dry weeds, fig and cypress trees in the town of Shain in the western countryside of the governorate, where the burned area reached 15 dunums.
Yesterday, firefighting teams put out a fire that engulfed dry grass and forest trees on the Homs-Damascus road.
