Apparently an Israeli businessman's freighter was attacked en route to Saudi Arabia. According to media reports, there were no victims. Israel accuses Iran. It would be the third case this year.

Another cargo ship owned by an Israeli businessman has been attacked in the Indian Ocean.

There were no victims, reported the Israeli daily »Haaretz«, citing Israeli security groups.

Accordingly, the country suspects that Iran is behind the attack.

The ship was therefore on its way from Saudi Arabia to the United Arab Emirates.

The pro-Iranian TV broadcaster Al Mayadeen had initially reported on the attack.

Israeli broadcaster Channel 12 later confirmed, citing Israeli security forces.

According to the broadcaster, the freighter "CSAV Tyndall" should not have had any Israeli nationals on board.

According to the information service Marine Traffic, it is sailing under the Liberian flag and stopped off the coast of the Emirates.

Similar attacks on freighters had already occurred in February and April.

Even then, ships owned by Israelis were attacked in the Gulf of Oman.

Israel accused Iran both times.

An Iranian freighter was also slightly damaged in an explosion in the Red Sea in April.

According to reports in the New York Times, the attack originated in Israel.

An Iranian nuclear facility was also attacked in April.

Tehran accused Israel.

Iran is enemies with Israel.

Israel, in turn, has now established diplomatic relations with the two Gulf countries, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain.
