A dog abuse case is suspected in Mei Foo Sun Chuen.
At 10 o'clock in the evening yesterday (July 4), a poodle dog suddenly fell from the first building of Mei Foo Sun Chuen Phase II, 30 Broadway Street, lying on the pavement road, dying.
Upon receiving the report, the police arrived and confirmed that the dog was obviously dead, and then notified the SPCA to send personnel to the scene to seize the corpse.
It is understood that the fallen poodle has reached 17 years of age and is male.
After investigation, the police suspected that the incident involved animal abuse. The case was temporarily classified as "Cruel Treatment of Animals" and a male dog owner surnamed Lin (59 years old) was arrested. The Sham Shui Po Police District Criminal Investigation Team has taken over and followed up.
