The really big celebrations are not yet possible this summer, but the small replacement festival “O'Gricht is” with four small open airs in Moosburg will also take place this year - for the second time.

Moosburg

- Without a doubt, the Moosburg District Court Garden is one of the most beautiful spots in the city, even if the name sounds more like bureaucracy than pleasure. The small green area could not be missing as an event location at legendary festivals such as the summer night. In the fragile Corona structure these days, mass parties with several thousand visitors are not yet possible and the side stage is becoming a replacement location. As in 2019, the "O'Gricht is" four-piece is the small replacement for the really big events.

The concept is just as relaxed as the atmosphere, because the visitors pack picnic blankets and enjoy the live music from a distance. On the four evenings, four Moosburger restaurateurs provide catering and bring the bands with them. In 2019, a maximum of 150 visitors were allowed into the district court garden every evening. This year it was increased slightly - to 200 guests. It can be assumed that the evenings will be fully reserved this time as well. A group of young Moosburgers had the idea last year and ran open doors at Moosburg Marketing, where they were already thinking about corona-compliant replacement for unthinkable mega-events.

"We killed a lot of birds with one stone," says Julian Grübl, from the "non-partisan baggage" (ÜBA). You give people nice hours, the city center is also revitalized during this time, and above all you help the restaurateurs, who are sometimes struggling to survive after almost one and a half years of forced closure. Last but not least, bands are also suffering from the pandemic and are given the opportunity to perform. The maximum of 200 visitors are absolutely fine for Julian Grübl, “because we don't want to organize a super-spreader event. More is just not possible at the moment. ”The music program is as colorful as the organizers and hosts. Burger specialist "Corner House" is bringing the Irish Paul Daly Band again, while "Weinliebe" has signed the famous Freising band Appollon's Smile. The "BB Lounge" will announce their group in the coming days. The latter two work together with the Youth Red Cross when it comes to food. The Turkish band Yoldas and the Afghan duo “Nasir & Monir Aziz” take to the stage at the Hirsch Jazz Club. In addition, there will be a special jazz event for children in the afternoon on Deer Day (September 4th).
