The German Weather Service (DWD) issues the second highest warning level for the area.
"Official warning of severe thunderstorms * with heavy rain and hail," it says on the website of the weather service.

Around Würzburg, between 25 and 40 liters of rain can fall on one square meter within a very short time.

On the other hand, it will be really hot again on Tuesday.
The thermometer climbs up to the 30-degree mark again in many places.
In Passau * it can even be 32 degrees.
The heat has - how could it be otherwise - new thunderstorms in the luggage and it can rain again on Wednesday.
Then the second half of the week goes unsteadily.
