Hama-Sana
The teams and firefighting mechanisms of the Forestry Directorate of the Al-Ghab Development Authority and units of the Syrian Arab Army put out a fire that broke out in the mountain forests in the village of Al-Sukari in the far northwestern countryside of Hama as a result of the attack with shells from terrorist groups deployed in the western countryside of Idlib.
The captain of the Forestry Officer in Al-Ghab Ghaith Hassan indicated that the fire damaged the forestry wealth, pointing out that the people's cooperation with the forest firefighting teams in Al-Ghab, the Al-Haffah firefighting brigade in Latakia and the Syrian Arab Army units in the area contributed to limiting the spread of fire and controlling it.
Nahel Suleiman, head of a fire station in the Al-Ghab Development Authority, confirmed that the continuous targeting of the area with rocket-propelled grenades causes fires to erupt in the forests and repeated fires to devour areas of neighboring forests and damage agricultural lands and farmers' fields.
