Approved institutions can apply for full subsidy to purchase high-performance Chinese screen readers (up to RMB 9,800) and/or braille displays (up to RMB 36,000) and/or auxiliary equipment/portable devices listed in the project reference sheet Equipment (up to 66,300 yuan).
Individuals approved by the applicant can be subsidized to purchase high-performance Chinese screen readers (up to RMB 9,800) and/or auxiliary equipment/portable devices (up to RMB 49,600) and/or braille displays listed in the same schedule (Up to 32,400 yuan).

Eligible organizations can apply in a designated form, and individual applicants must be nominated by a subsidized non-governmental organization providing rehabilitation services, the Student Affairs Office of a local tertiary institution, the principal of a local elementary school or the Department of Employment , And submit the designated application form and the quotation of the required equipment through the nominating agency. The SWD stated that it has sent a letter inviting the relevant agency to assist in recommending and submitting the nomination.
The "Personal Computer Central Fund" aims to subsidize eligible persons with disabilities to purchase the necessary computer equipment and assist them to set up their own homes through the assistance and follow-up services provided by rehabilitation service agencies or the Selective Placement Division of the Labour Department. For business or to receive assisted employment services at home, applicants must meet the following conditions: they are receiving rehabilitation service opportunities or services provided by the Selective Employment Division of the Labour Department and must be recommended by the aforementioned units; open employment difficulties; provide a feasible business plan , And the plan requires the use of computer equipment; financial difficulties, unable to purchase the computer equipment needed for the business; capable of operating the computer to implement its business plan; and obtaining the consent of the applicant’s rehabilitation service organization or the Labour Department Provide counseling and follow-up services after subsidizing the purchase of computer equipment.
