A 24-year-old Uber driver was shot in the head in La Matanza and this Sunday he was hospitalized, stable, in the Paroissien hospital.
They believe he was attacked by thieves who were traveling in three stolen cars hours earlier.
Judicial sources reported that the attack occurred on Friday night, when

left his partner's birthday celebration in
Rafael Castillo
, around 11
p.m.,
and got into his Toyota Corolla to make some trips with the Uber application.
Something happened when Gonzalo arrived at the intersection of Avenue and Coronel Bogado Christiania, on the border of the towns of
Villa Luzuriaga

.
At that corner, the driver passed three other cars, which had been stolen in the last hours.

Meanwhile, the prosecutor Marcelo Diomede, from the Functional Unit of Instruction No. 5 of the La Matanza Judicial Department, ordered a series of measures to find Gonzalo's attackers and establish under what circumstances they shot him.
Stolen cars
From the survey of
security cameras
located in the area where Gonzalo was attacked, images were obtained showing the sequence that ended with the injured taxi driver and the flight of the suspects in the three cars and heading to
Camino de Cintura
.
Based on the images, the researchers were able to observe the license plates of the three cars
used by criminals:
all had
recently
been robbed
.

that had been stolen on Saturday morning from a policewoman in the town of Isidro Casanova, the sources explained.

: it had been stolen in the
San Carlos neighborhood
of La Matanza, by three armed robbers who were mobilizing in the VW Suran stolen from the agent.
While the third car used by the criminals was a
blue
Fiat Uno
, which had also been stolen in the
San Carlos neighborhood
of La Matanza and the thieves were traveling in a VW Suran or a similar car, as reported.
