About 33 concertos factories were taken off at the Daraa governorate level, in parallel with the entry of the tomato crop to the market.
Industry Director Imad Al-Rifai said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the directorate is working with the concerned authorities to provide the consortium facilities with some production requirements, especially diesel, indicating that the plants’ capacity ranges between 70 and 200 tons per day of tomato seeds.
The Director of Industry pointed to the advantages of taking off the console factories, which are facilitating the receipt of farmers' production of tomatoes, reducing transportation costs and reducing recession operations.
The number of licensed consortium facilities in Daraa is 43, some of which have been suspended due to the conditions of the terrorist war.
