At about 7:58 this morning (5th), a truck collided with a bus on Tuen Mun Highway towards Tuen Mun near Chai Wan Kok, Tsuen Wan. The incident caused three women to be injured and unwell, including a pregnant woman.
At 8:13 in the morning, another private car at the site was suspected to be out of control and crashed into the engineering water horse on the side of the road. The front of the car was severely damaged and traversed the lane. The driver was also injured.
The police are investigating the case and the traffic on the site was severely congested due to the impact of the car accident.
At 8:34 in the morning, the Transport Department stated that due to a traffic accident, part of the lanes of Tuen Mun Highway (towards Tuen Mun) near Chai Wan Kok were still closed.
Motorists can only use the remaining traffic lanes.
The traffic on the site is heavy at present.
