A number of Palestinians were injured this evening as the Israeli occupation forces suppressed an anti-settlement demonstration in the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces attacked the participants with poison gas bombs, which took place near Jabal Sabih, in refusal to establish a settlement outpost on its summit, which led to the injury of two Palestinians and 11 others who suffocated.
Five Palestinians, including two children, were martyred and hundreds were injured as a result of the occupation forces' assault on the daily demonstrations in the town since last May, in rejection of the occupation's settlement plans.
In addition, hundreds of settlers stormed “Joseph’s Tomb” east of Nablus, under strict protection from the occupation forces, and carried out provocative rounds in it, while firing poison gas bombs at the Palestinians.
