Brazil and Peru, finalists of the last edition, will meet this Monday for the first place for the decisive match of the Copa América 2021, which will be played on Saturday at the legendary Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
The match will be played from 8 pm at the Nilton Santos stadium in Rio de Janeiro, refereed by Chilean Roberto Tobar, and will be televised by TyC Sports and DirecTV Sports.
The winner will define the title with Argentina or Colombia, protagonists of the remaining key.
Brazil, seeking its 10th crown at the South American level, is the top seed of the competition and, for the moment, honored that condition with authority: it won Group B, is undefeated with four wins and one draw, scored eleven goals and received just two.
In his football performance he had ups and downs, as in the equality against Ecuador (1-1) in the last date of his zone or the first half against Chile (1-0), which he ends up eliminating in the quarterfinals, but still Tite's never stopped being a reliable team.
For this Monday's game, Brazil and Peru will have significant absences, although this has more impact on the team led by Argentine Ricardo Gareca, who will not be able to line up one of his most destabilizing players, the right winger André Carrillo, who was expelled against Paraguay in the quarterfinals.
Brazil, meanwhile, will not have Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesús, who also saw the red card against Chile.
To make up for this loss, Tite has Roberto Firmino, from Liverpool, or Gabigol, from Flamengo.
Another change in the formation of the five-time world champion could occur if full-back Alex Sandro recovers from an injury, otherwise Atlético de Madrid footballer Renan Lodi will continue.
