A missile attack targeted the third al-Tawhid base inside the American embassy in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, today, while the embassy's defenses reportedly shot down a drone.
Alsumaria News quoted a security source as saying in a statement that "a drone targeted the Tawhid base at the American embassy in Baghdad," noting that the American occupation forces immediately closed the military wing inside the embassy.
The source added that sirens were activated inside the embassy and the “CRM” system was activated, without giving further details.
For its part, Iraqi sources confirmed that warning sirens were heard inside the Al-Tawhid base at the US embassy in the Green Zone.
