The Russian authorities announced the arrest of five terrorist extremists who were planning to carry out racist crimes in several regions of the country.
The Russia Today website quoted the Russian Investigative Committee as saying that “members of extremist nationalist organizations were arrested in a number of Russian regions, including the Khabarovsk region, who were planning to carry out violent crimes in various regions of the country,” noting that investigations are underway in Bryansk Province with one of the detainees and his age. 17 years on charges of belonging to an extremist group and trying to recruit new members to commit various crimes on a racial basis.
The committee pointed out that security forces in the Khabarovsk region have arrested four people, one of them minors, who planned to commit extremist racist crimes.
Earlier today, the Russian Federal Security Service announced that it had thwarted a series of terrorist attacks in the cities of Moscow, Astrakhan and the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic, which were planned by ISIS terrorists, noting that six terrorists were eliminated and two others were arrested.
