With the participation of 50 companies, the activities of the seventh edition of the “Good deeds” festival, organized by the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, in cooperation with a group of businessmen and women, were launched today at the Syrian Trade Complex in Al-Nabek.
The festival, which continues until the 21st of this month, includes a variety of food, consumer, textile, cleaning materials, clothing, household and electrical appliances of good quality and reasonable prices, in addition to competitions and gifts to visitors by participating companies.
The assistant director of the branch of the Syrian Trade Corporation in Damascus countryside, Faraj Seif, confirmed in a statement to reporters the corporation's keenness to provide facilities for every economic activity that seeks to offer products and goods that the family needs at reduced prices in the interest of citizens.
The head of the group of businessmen and women supervising the festival, Dr. Muhammad Al-Jabali, said in a similar statement that the festival aims to present and present materials from the producer to the consumer and break mediation rings, which reduces the profit margin and contributes to supporting the purchasing power of citizens.
Rasmi Bajbouj, director of one of the cotton production companies participating in the festival, said in a statement to SANA that the shopping festivals open the way to reach the largest possible segment of citizens and know their opinions about the product and work to improve it, while the director of the leather company Fatina Othman saw that their participation comes with the aim of interfering and promoting the company’s products and encouragement to buy it.
Mohamed Sass, sales manager in a food and spice company, indicated that participation in the festival reflects positively on the company's sales.
The festival is open to visitors daily from 11 am to 10 pm.
