The Philippines recorded 5,392 new infections and 43 more deaths from the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
According to the World Meter website, the total number of HIV infections in the country has reached 1,441,746, while the total number of deaths has reached 25,192.
In Malaysia, 6,387 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total number of infections to 785,039, while the number of deaths reached 5,574 cases, with 77 additional deaths recorded.
For its part, Fiji recorded 352 new infections and 33 deaths related to the disease today, bringing the total injuries to 6,513 injuries and deaths 1,287 cases.
