With a hundred films selected, a wide variety of genres and a new category, Cannes Premieres, the festival has something to please the public this year.
In addition to the official competition, in official or parallel selection, such as Un Certain Regard, Critics 'Week or Directors' Fortnight, the other categories also have their share of nuggets.
Le Figaro

Originally scheduled for last November and then postponed many times because of the pandemic,

will finally be entitled to the light.
Valérie Lemercier traces the journey of Aline Dieu, largely inspired by Celine Dion, from her modest childhood in the Quebec countryside alongside her thirteen brothers and sisters, until today.
The film focuses on the love story between the star and her husband René Angélil, renamed Guy-Claude for the occasion.
A film full of emotion and humor, with as a bonus, the songs of the Quebec star superbly interpreted by Victoria Sio.

OSS 117 - Red alert in Black Africa
