After several weeks of debate on the return of Argentines who are abroad, the Buenos Aires government finally decreed that they
must remain isolated when returning to the country for 4 days.
For this, the Province has set up special hotels, where the expenses will be borne by each passenger.
It will be mandatory to stay in these hotels for those who reside in the Province of Buenos Aires, have traveled
abroad from July 1 and have a return date on August 31
.
Those who do not comply with the quarantine will have to pay fines of up to $ 4.3 million.
As a result of this resolution, the authorities enabled
47 establishments
distributed in different municipalities of the Greater Buenos Aires so that passengers
remain there until
a
negative
CRP is present
and the corresponding discharge, after 4 days.
For the remaining 3 days, they will be able to return to their homes and complete the last quarantine period there.
According to an estimate by the International Airline Association (ITA), there are currently 14,000 Argentines stranded abroad whose flights were canceled or are still being rescheduled.

Howard Johnson Resort
, a three-star hotel located in Cancha Rayada and Panamericana, they comment that they joined this proposal through a link offered by the Tourism Hotels Association to register as an accommodation hotel and host those who enter the country .
The Howard Johnson Resort is one of the options available in the municipality of Pilar.
People who stay here will be able to enjoy the buffet breakfast, spa service, outdoor courts and heated and outdoor pools.
"As people arrive with a negative PCR, they
are able to have all the benefits that the hotel offers
, it is not that they must stay in their rooms. The only condition is that they do not leave the establishment until they have completed the 4 days established by the government. ", explains Sebastián Tobías, general manager of Howard Johnson.
Although at first the information was confusing for some Argentines who were close to arriving in the country and assumed that the hotels only received infected people, from the complex they clarify that this is not the case.
"We did not receive infected passengers
, we only enabled the hotel to complete their 4-day quarantine with a negative PCR."
Regarding the costs of transportation, accommodation and food, they
must be assumed by the person who enters the country
and will be rendered directly at the establishment chosen by each Argentine.
In addition, the transfer will be immediate upon arrival in the country and will be included in the personal expense of each passenger.
"All expenses are the responsibility of the client. They must pay for the four meals or the amount that each one consumes, as long as they do not eat outside the hotel as it is forbidden," adds Tobías.
The hotel has 59 rooms in their entirety, which are fully equipped and prepared with the corresponding protocols.
They are divided into 31 standard rooms, 17 suites and 11 luxury rooms.
Currently, the hotel in the
northern area
of the GBA has
guests
staying who traveled before July 1, but who were wrong in believing that they had to perform mandatory isolation outside their home.
"The information was confusing from the beginning. Even today we do not know if we should inform the government when people leave the hotel after 4 days. For now, we will keep a record of those who entered under quarantine and isolation conditions," details the manager.
And he added: "On the one hand this measure seems logical to me and on the other hand it does not. Although it is necessary to keep a check on the people who enter from abroad,
I feel that it was not the way to do it
."
Another of the municipalities that adhered to this proposal to offer more exclusive boutique hotels to the taste of each client is
San Isidro
.
