The Iranian Internal Security Forces announced today the dismantling of a terrorist cell in the south of the country and the arrest of its members.
The security forces said in a statement that "the cell, which includes a group of saboteurs, planned and executed armed plots inside the country with the aim of harming the public security of society," noting that this cell is linked to terrorist groups abroad and receives support from them.
On the third of last June, the Iranian Ministry of Security announced the dismantling of a terrorist cell and the arrest of 4 of its members near the city of Marivan in the Kurdistan province in the west of the country.
