Iranian President-elect Ibrahim Raisi affirmed that collective security with the participation of countries in the region, including Iran and India as regional players, and broad economic cooperation between them are among the important priorities in the relations between the two countries.
When receiving Indian Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar in Tehran today, Raeesi said, who delivered a congratulatory message from his country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, that the stability and sustainability of bilateral relations, especially in the economic fields, depends on regulating relations only within the parameters of Tehran and New Delhi's interests.
Raisi stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran supports the stability and security of Afghanistan.
For his part, the Indian Foreign Minister stressed the need to work collectively to ensure the stability of the situation in Afghanistan and lead to ending its crises, while at the same time an invitation from the Indian Prime Minister to the Iranian president to visit his country.
