The decision to oppose the law, despite internal Likud controversies and protests, signals that Netanyahu and his associates are determined to wage a bitter war and delegitimization in the government, which promises many more white nights and sleep deprivation.

The coalition believes and hopes that even if they suffer losses from time to time, they will survive at least until the budget is approved, mainly due to the worst alternative for almost everyone - elections.
