The Baghdad Operations Command announced today that it had thwarted the detonation of four explosive devices in the Hor Al-Basha area, north of Baghdad.
Alsumaria News quoted the Iraqi leadership as saying in a statement that four explosive devices intended to target civilians were seized and dismantled in the Hor Al-Basha area, north of Baghdad.
The statement indicated that the competent authorities were able to seize and dismantle the packages.
Yesterday, Iraqi forces thwarted an attempt to blow up one of the electric power transmission towers by the terrorist organization "ISIS" north of the capital, Baghdad.
