Val-d'Oise: a killer arrested for the assassination of "Ronaldo"

A 44-year-old man was killed in Garges-lès-Gonesse in March 2020 amid a settling of scores between drug traffickers.


A 36-year-old man, a hired killer in the service of drug traffickers, was indicted and imprisoned Friday, July 2 for "murder in an organized gang", reports

Two other individuals, aged 26 and 36, were also indicted and imprisoned.

They are suspected of having killed Mustapha Djillali Bloufa, 44, on March 6, 2020 in Garges-lès-Gonesse (Val-d'Oise).

The man is nicknamed "Ronaldo" for his resemblance to the famous Brazilian footballer.

That day, the forty-something is driving his black Mercedes parked in a parking lot when an individual armed with a Kalashnikov assault rifle opens fire.

Mustapha Djillali Bloufa is hit by several bullets in the head.

A "known" trafficker

Originally from Montfermeil (Seine-Saint-Denis), “Ronaldo” is a notorious drug trafficker who had

“very good years”

between 2001 and 2006, as reported by

. Between 2005 and 2007, cocaine hidden in suitcases arrived in Roissy from Venezuela. The man was sentenced in Paris to ten years in prison for a case of importing 104 kilos of cocaine. He was just released from prison in early 2020.

Investigators have found the trace of the man suspected of having killed him near Perpignan. Under surveillance, the hitman - Christopher A. - had just missed another target and accused himself of the murder of "Ronaldo". Already convicted of multiple robberies and suspected of having participated in several settling of scores in Marseille, this dangerous individual belongs to the

“Marignane clan”

. At the end of June 2021, he was already in prison with his two alleged accomplices.
