A violent explosion was heard on Wednesday evening in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, an AFP correspondent reported.
A fire also broke out in Dubai's main port after an explosion.

At least three residents in the area of this incident reported doors and windows in their homes being violently shaken by the explosion.
