The Ministry of Tourism, in cooperation with the Governorate of Damascus, is working on completing all preparations and preparations for the establishment of the 41st International Flower Show in Tishreen Park, starting from the 18th of this current July until the 3rd of next August, under the slogan “Jasmine Sham blossoms again.”
In a statement to SANA’s delegate, Eng. Bassam Mardinli, Director of Damascus Tourism, explained that the ministry has sent invitations to a group of Arab countries that are always interested in participating in the exhibition, namely “Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq and Sudan,” as part of its efforts to develop the flower industry in Syria and enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences between Arab countries in this regard. the field.
According to Mardinli, a number of local producers, cut flower producers, flower production companies, companies that deal with equipment for nurseries, beekeepers, rose products, medicinal and aromatic products will participate in the exhibition. And ornamental plants and some complementary industries for the manufacture of flowers and landscaping.
The Director of Damascus Tourism indicated that the exhibition is accompanied by a series of scientific, cultural and artistic events, activities for children, artistic parties for youth, and an open air cinema, which will show a group of films selected from the Ministry of Culture that have won artistic and international awards, in addition to displaying heritage products for a number of craftsmen and some traditional industries related to the flower industry, pointing out The exhibition supports a group of rural women who work in small projects for rural development.
