Daimler gets away with impunity, but BMW and VW are hit hard.

Brussels - The EU Commission has imposed competition fines in the millions against the two German car manufacturers BMW and Volkswagen. Because of illegal agreements on so-called Adblue tanks for better exhaust gas cleaning, Volkswagen is expected to pay a good 500 million euros, BMW just under 375 million euros, as the commission announced on Thursday.
